POSITION: LINE LEADER
Summary: Leads , mentors , supports and helps in the development of teams or on an individual basis disabled Individuals. Performs repetitive bench or line assembly operations to mass-produce products in various departments on various work shifts. Completes various packaging, parts assembly, kitting, manual and/or machine assembly operations. Distributes product to market as instructed. Receives and gives training as instructed and/or provided. Responsible for ensuring production line is running smoothly, production/packaging is performed accurately – according to customer specifications,paperwork is completed accurately, counts are correct, keeps work areas orderly, organized and safe. Works together as part of a team in a professional,productive, cooperative manner. Ensures all company policies and procedures are followed at all times by performing the following duties.
I. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Works at different plants as production/packaging needs require and/or as assigned by
- Supervisor/Management.
- Must work all shifts/hours as required and/or scheduled to ensure production/packaging
- needs are met.
- Must work over time as assigned and as needed to meet production schedules.
- Responsible for setting up production lines, take down of production lines, purging production
- areas and cleaning production area as assigned and/or trained.
- Performs process inspections and audits as required and/or as assigned/trained by Supervisor/
- Management for specific assembly. Processes all required paperwork to comply with service of our Individual’ss, cGMPS and CWS’s OJT , Job Aids and SOPS’s
- Communicates, handles and distributes customer’s goods as instructed.
- Works on line where tasks vary as different model of same article moves along line.
II. TEAMWORK
- Encourage and maintain a positive working relationship with all departments in the agency, families and advocates, individuals supported, staff and board members, and community partners.
- Communicate all health, safety, client care and/or program concerns, sensitive situations and incidents to supervisor
- Attend, facilitate and participate in all required and/or requested departmental or agency meetings
III. DOCUMENTATION
- Complete required documentation in conformance with rules, regulations, policies and procedures and billing practices
IV. COMPLIANCE & ACCOUNTABILITY
- Identify and report any untoward incidents and conduct investigations related to allegations of abuse or breach of corporate compliance standards.
- Identify, report and/or correct all safety hazards including physical plant problems and/or problem work practices and assist with investigating all work-related accidents as requested
- Fully participate in all required activities and administrative duties relating to investigations, incidents and accidents in assigned program areas and other areas as requested
- Ensure self and assigned program compliance with all State and Federal regulations along with agency policies and practices
V. TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT
- Attend all required training, staff development programs and committees and/or staff meetings as required by the agency and/or State and Federal regulations
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess good interpersonal, written, oral, and communication abilities and effective time management/organizational skills
- Able to work scheduled hours that may include overtime, weekend and/or holiday timeframes and maintain an acceptable work attendance as defined in the agency’s personnel policy manual and handbook.
- Be computer literate with knowledge in agency operating systems and applicable software required for department needs.
- Able to generate and present comprehensive written reports and respond to questions about the report
- Demonstrate sound judgment in normal work and emergency situations
- Must physically be able to perform required certifications and lift fifty (50) pounds
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED
A combination of education and experience that meets the needs of the agency.
