Human Resources Generalist II

POSITION: Human Resources Generalist II

Join a great team of professionals in a rewarding career at ACHIEVE! The Human Resources Generalist II works under the general direction of the CHRO and provides service to our awesome co-workers. While this position is involved in many of the exciting facets of Human Resources, we are seeking candidates who have experience handling Workers’ Compensation Claims, Leaves of Absence, and OSHA 300 reporting. Some other duties include assisting with various parts of Onboarding, Offboarding, and position changes.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Possess good interpersonal, written, oral, and communication abilities and effective time management/organizational skills

Able to work scheduled hours that may include overtime, weekend and/or holiday timeframes and maintain an acceptable work attendance as defined in the agency’s personnel policy manual and handbook.

Be computer literate with knowledge in agency operating systems and applicable software required for department needs.

Able to generate and present comprehensive written reports and respond to questions about the report

Demonstrate sound judgment in normal work and emergency situations

Must physically be able to perform job duties that includes sitting; typing or using a computer for extend periods of time and be able to lift twenty-five (25) pounds

Possess a valid driver’s license acceptable to the agency’s insurance carrier

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associates degree in related field plus three years of Human Resources experience.

-Or-

High School Diploma plus five years Human Resources experience.

-Or-

A combination of education and experience that in the opinion of the reviewing agency, exceeds the above standards of the program

SHRM or HRCI Human Resources Certification is preferred.

Experience working in Paylocity is helpful, but not required.
